Advice & Tips

Being on talk radio gets people's attention to creates a buzz about products and services. It benefits the guest, station, and listener to make it a win-win situation. Radio interviews can lead to speaking engagements and other interviews. Posting shows where a person has been a guest on his or her website provides evidence of the authority of the professional.

Interviews allow the guest and audience to connect. People want to identify with real people's lives and experiences so they enjoy a variety of guests. People hear the voice of the guests and often can relate their lives and dreams. This builds relationship. Call-in shows allow listeners to interact and engage in conversation with the guest. A guest can keep listeners tuned in with great stories, controversy, or information.

Your first TV appearance will be a very exciting experience, and you'll probably spend hours carefully preparing what you want to say. You'll also very likely spend much time preparing what to wear. This is a vital part of the process because TV is primarily a visual medium and how you look is an important part of the package.

During a TV interview, don't look up at the ceiling when you are thinking what to say (you'll look like you are BSing). Look down if you need to look away for a moment. You'll look thoughtful.

Are you thinking about hosting your own radio or television show?  If so, contact our programming department to find out how you can host a  series.    Send all inquires to info@hypemediaglobal.com.

Your time is valuable. Most people waste large blocks of time practicing the wrong way. Others don't know how to quickly and effectively rehearse so the first time they practice is in the actual media situation. They essentially allow their "first draft" of their interview to be the one they share with the world. We don't know about you, but our first drafts are never perfect. If speaking to the media is part of your marketing or advertising strategy, would you ever allow a first draft of your marketing and advertising messages to go to the world? Would it be worth it to know now to quickly and easily shape those messages? How about having the techniques to field any question? Would it be a valuable skill if you could dramatically increase your chances of getting the exact answer you want into media stories? This is what we do for our clients. This is what has made us the best in the world. Our clients, which include business owners, authors, executives and athletes. That's just a piece of what we'll do when we work with you.

Your strengths and weaknesses are unique to you.  This Media Training Workshop will analyze, probe and diagnose your performance in a way that is specific to you. This customized approach is the only way you can truly learn to improve.
